- Your progress saves automatically at key moments - arriving in a settlement, discovering a landmark, or stepping onto a new dungeon floor - watch for the 💾 Progress saved message. Each one becomes your checkpoint, so if you're ever defeated you'll respawn at the last place you saved.
- Every checkpoint also banks your gains. If you're defeated, anything earned since your last save - XP, loot and coins - is lost. Dungeon floors and landmarks checkpoint automatically as you go, so a defeat rarely costs you much.
- Defeat enemies and complete quests to earn XP and level up.
- Each level grants a stat point to raise an attribute and a skill point to unlock a skill. When you level up, a card offers them as soon as the fighting stops - your stat point first, then your skill.
- Every class has three branches in its Skill Tree. Spend skill points to climb them - skills grant passive bonuses or active abilities you equip to a slot. The level-up card can unlock the next skill in a branch on the spot.
Your Stats
- Might: the main driver of your melee damage.
- Agility: the main driver of your bow damage; raises your critical-hit chance for bigger damage spikes, with a little extra melee power.
- Vitality: increases your maximum health and softens incoming hits.
- Wits: the mind of the magic archetypes (Scholar, Healer); it powers their spells and skills, and many passives grant it.
➕ Skipped the level-up card? Your points wait for you - open your character card, on the title screen or in play, and tap + next to a stat to raise it.
Stats aren't only for combat: reaching a stat threshold can open up new quests, buildings, and other content - so where you invest shapes your path.
Inventory
- Enemies and special chests drop gear straight into your Inventory.
- Every gear drop comes with Equip and Skip - tap Equip to put it on right away, even mid-fight. To swap anything else, open the 🎒 button anywhere outside of combat.
- Gear comes in rarity tiers; rarer finds carry stronger bonuses.
🎒 Your Inventory (open it from the title screen or during game play) shows everything you've found.
